There’s a certain zen I get from piloting my motorcycle around the racetrack. At 150 mph I’m not looking at the barrier or cones flying by next to me. My focus is on what lies ahead. Where I will brake, when I will begin turning, and how I will set myself up for the next turn. The track is a puzzle, and I am solving it one apex at a time.
In the chaos of design I also find a certain calmness. Every project I do is approached with careful planning and precision. I filter through the noise and pick out what’s important.
